  5. Action, screaming, blood. War is diferent to Jamie than other people. She has dreamed of being in the war like her dad. A commander of an army base and her hero. Her and her brother have always demt of being in the war sice they were little kids. Her brother was a big fan of takeing pictures of the moon. that was partly why the book was called Shooting the moon. When her brother is about 15 his dream come true and he is sent to war. Jamie was ovesly very jelous and wanted to know what the action was like. When Jamie sends his first letter it isnt a letter at all. To Jamies surprise it is a rool of film. The first of many other rolls of film. When she learns how to get the film into pictures she is astonist at what the cold hard war is realy like up close. Jamie begins to wonder if war is still really her life long dream. I liked this book alot. If you are into a heart warming story and great action this is the book for you.
