ReplyDeleteThe characters in Puppy Power are really funny. They all have great personalities. This book does show something about how to train a dog. When Frannie said "let's put a dead toad in Tiffany's backpack, it really hooked my interest. This book is really about friendship and how not to be a bully. We wonder why it was called "Puppy Power?"

ReplyDeleteI loved this book! i likeed when Fran got her dog and she was so determined on training this dog but boy he didnt act like a dog he acted like a big furry beast.i read this book in the summer and i cant forget it.i loved it so much it definitlty my favorite book of the year.you have to read it for the rooster games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i love it

I LOVED PUPPY POWER!!! This book is about a girl named Fran who gets a puppy named Hercules. He is a crazy puppy who needs to be trained. Frans mom is going to have a baby and says she cant take care of two babies an they might have to give him away. Fran says she can take care of him but her mom says she is not mature enough. Because Fran is having trouble at school with her being mean to a girl named Tiffanie, telling everyone she is the best at tether ball,and just bossing people around. At school there is a play and Fran wants to be the princess in it. But with Tiffanie giving her an attitude about it she might not be able to. While at home Frans mom said they could keep there dog because Fran and her dad took him to puppy training and he learned to be a better puppy. At school Fran makes the part of the princess and is a lot nicer to people at school. All goes well after that,and Fran earns more gold stars.
